Our Story

Why Prela Exists

Most landlords didn't set out to be landlords. They bought an investment property, or inherited one, or moved and kept the old place. They want the returns without the full-time job that comes with it.

I've spent years on the real estate side, helping clients buy properties across Metro Vancouver. What I kept hearing from investor clients was the same thing: they had a property manager, but they didn't feel like anyone actually cared about the asset. Slow replies. Generic screening. Repair bills they didn't understand. Fees that kept creeping up.

Prela Property Management exists to be the opposite of that.

I'm personally involved in every client relationship. You're not passed off to a junior account manager, and I'm the one making decisions about your property. Every inquiry gets a response within one business day, usually much faster. Tenants are screened thoroughly, not rushed. Repairs are billed at cost with no markup. Fees are published and fixed. And if a tenant we place breaks lease within the term, we re-lease your property free.

I'm BCFSA-licensed, I hold Property Manager, REALTOR®, PMP®, and FMVA® credentials, and I run this business the way I'd want someone to run my own investment property.
